About Me

I believe my success as a Newborn Care Specialist comes from decades of hands-on experience, coupled with evidenced-based training & certification, and my passion to support new parents in a way that individually supports their preferences and desires. During my childrens' swim lessons, I once sat next to a Mom who said, "I am the perfect parent...for the stage my child just left." Parenting is not an easy feat and it does "take a village." When it comes to working with newborns and infants, they will no doubt cry, because at this stage of the game, it is one of the ways best ways they can communicate. It is 100% my belief that by immediately responding to their needs, or even better, being proactive and ready to meet their need just before it arises they will develop into little people who feel secure and calm, ready to learn, grow and take on the world ahead.
