Certification process

Meet entry requirements

To begin, students must be 18 years or older and have an active email address.

Study at your own pace

Complete online training via Web on mobile, tablet, or desktop. Read training manual PDF.

Pass final examination

After completing all the lessons, complete an online exam to demonstrate you've retained all you have learned.

Pass interview

In a live interview with a Newmom.me Academy expert, talk through how you would handle various real-world situations.

Submit proof of emergency response training

At an accredited provider such as the American Red Cross, complete training with a mannequin in both CPR and first aid for newborns and infants. Submit your certifications to Newmom.me Academy.

Sign policy agreements

Review and sign the following Newmom.me Academy documents: Code of Conduct, Social Media Policy, Grievance Policy, and Scope of Practice.

Receive Certificate from Newmom.me Academy

Congratulations! Once you have passed all evaluations and Newmom.me Academy has received proof of certification for emergency response skills, you will receive your Certificate in PDF and online formats.

Recertification process

Every two years, you must complete the following process to maintain your Certification.
