At Vita Kitchen we believe that chefs have a responsibility to make delicious food, as well as food that is supportive and nourishing to our bodies.
At Vita Kitchen we believe in sharing a meal around a table as family. We believe in good food, creativity, beauty, and connection. We believe every person has incredible potential within them, and when we meet our nutritional needs we can help to unlock this potential.
We are a human-centered, chef-driven, high quality meal delivery service based in Oakland, CA. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all diets. We believe that our bodies each have different nutritional needs, and when we meet those needs we feel at our best.
Our food
We use only the highest quality ingredients in all our meal plans.
- All animal and seafood proteins are responsibly sourced.
- We source organic, local and seasonal produce wherever possible.
Our nutritional philosophy follows these basic guidelines,
- We use pasture-raised animal proteins for maximum nutritional benefit.
- Only healthy fats like olive oil, avocado oil, and ghee are employed in recipes — never refined vegetable oils.
- We use no refined sugar.
- We use whole grains, and pre-soak our grains and legumes.
- Our meals are plant-forward (meaning veggies make up at least half the meal!).
- Weekly meal plans often include the benefits of healing broths & probiotic-rich fermented foods.
Our menu selections change weekly and seasonally, and can be adjusted to accommodate for allergies and dietary restrictions. All meals are fully cooked and easily assembled, with heating and serving instructions included.

Service area
We currently deliver to all of San Francisco + Alameda counties. We deliver to most parts of San Mateo county (excluding Pacifica + Half Moon Bay), parts of Contra Costa County (Orinda, Lafayette, Moraga, Walnut Creek, Danville, San Ramon), and parts of Santa Clara county (Palo Alto + Los Altos).
- All delivery is included in our weekly meal service, so all you need to do is unpack your bags and stock your fridge with delicious, healthy meals!
- We are a plastic-free meal delivery service. All meals are packaged in glass containers, which you are encouraged to return with your next delivery.
