My journey started when I finished my studies in early childhood education in Brazil and worked with children of all ages including children with emotional and behavioral disorders. 3 years later, I moved to Santa Clara in California, where I had my own sunshine boy. It was when I immersed myself in the world of motherhood, a unique and wonderful felling but also very challenging experience, where I realized the importance of having a Doula to help, and support a mother and family in their pre-birth, delivery and also in the difficulties encountered in the postpartum that's how I decided to specialize in this beautiful profession that is to be a DOULA.
