Hi! I am a Trained Postpartum Doula. As a doula, my role is to support and care for a family with a newborn(s) by teaching baby-related skills (bathing, feeding, breastfeeding, etc.) and emotionally supporting the parents and infant(s). Doula work includes overnight work too where I help care for baby(ies) so parents can rest and recover all while providing education as desired. I also run errands, cook, and do some light housework.

We used Clarissa's services once our little miracle baby came home from the NICU. We were first time parents and I was recovering from horrible pregnancy complications. She was absolutely incredible. She answered every question with proficiency and knowledge and made me so so comfortable. Bonus: being able to sleep at night was CRUCIAL for my sanity. I didn't have to worry that my baby was safe because I knew she was in great hands. Doulas are incredible and I would highly recommend Clarissa's services! To this day, we use the tips and tricks she taught us to keep a very happy little household.
Background check
Provider is willing to provide a background check upon request.
I have been working with babies for the last 14 years, and was a live-in nanny for twin infants before I became a Doula. I currently am an independent contractor for Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance Hospital working as a postpartum doula. I am infant and adult CPR Certified and have previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant working at a hospital for a year. My role is non-medical but I do have a medical background. I also volunteered in the NICU as a nursing volunteer at UCLA Ronald Reagan Hospital where I worked with newborn and premature babies.
