I help babies to cry less, smile more, and develop well. I help parents to support growth from a calm, confident, unconditional place. I help couples to increase friendship and intimacy and to manage conflict. I do that through virtual postpartum doula services as well as family resilience coaching. My goal is to cultivate relationships so that together we grow families and communities that are healthy, joyful, and resilient.
We had a great marriage before your class, but we have just become stronger.

Work experience

Speaking arrangements at Infant Development Association, San Jose SU, Kaiser new parent support groups, San Jose Holistic Moms Network.

Postpartum Doula: Virtual and In person
With a postpartum doula, you will enjoy,

  • Nurturing as new parents
  • Education about baby basics and becoming a family
  • Assessment of your needs and help you find ways to meet them
  • Referrals to other resources as you need them

My goal in these first 3 months after baby is born is to provide you with the care you need to recover from labor, to reduce the baby blues, to make sure you have eaten and had plenty of water, to rest,to walk as appropriate, to get fresh air,to help your children adjust to life with a new baby,to establish your new routines as a family. I am here to listen and support you as you process the hopes, fears, frustrations, and challenges of being a new parent.

Family resilience coaching:
Please schedule a free 30-60 minute family breakthrough session. During this session, we will talk about:

  • The challenges you are facing as a family
  • The obstacles that have been getting in your way
  • Potential next steps to move forward to help you get your needs met
  • At the end of the call, if it’s a good fit for both of us, we will talk about options for working together.

My goal is to help you to get to an empowered “yes” or “no” and to help you to get the support you need.  If we are not a good fit to work together, I have lots of amazing colleagues and would be happy to provide a referral.
Whenever it’s applicable and possible, please schedule family breakthrough sessions for a time when you and your partner can both attend.
You do not need a partner to participate in my services.  However, since the goal is to build family teamwork and reduce chaos for the whole family, it usually works best if we do this meeting together and include all adult decision-makers.

Service covered with special fee:

From Fussy to KALM 2 week package- The purpose of the class is to give parents of pre-crawling babies the tools to,

  • Calm your crying baby
  • Reduce stress and depression for you and your baby
  • Feel confident in your ability to meet your baby’s needs
  • Understand why babies cry and what is normal
  • Get to know your babies’ communication style, personality and way of connecting

My approach

I am a bilingual English/Spanish-speaking new parent sanity specialist, with a background in early learning and infant family transdisciplinary mental health. I have been called “a tour guide on the adventure into early parenting.” My goal is to cultivate relationships so that together we grow families and communities that are healthy, joyful, and resilient. After losing our son to mitochondrial disease, my husband and I almost lost our marriage as well. Since then, we have learned what makes families fail and what makes them succeed. This gave me a passion for life and for helping others build well connected families where each person feels KALM (known, appreciated, loved, and therefore motivated to grow and connect). I work with families to reduce feelings of isolation, resentment, and chaos so that we can enjoy our families more and children thrive!
