I have supported over 50 families prenatally, attended over 40 births, and supported over 15 families as a day or night postpartum doula! Prior to becoming a doula, I worked in childcare for several years as a nanny, daycare provider, and preschool teacher.

My background has led me to appreciate both the medical and the natural - I provide my clients with the latest evidence and science-backed explanations while holding space for our bodies to work their innate magic. During labor, I utilize comforting touch and counterpressure, affirmations, guided meditations, breath support, Spinning Babies techniques, gentle suggestions, and plenty of space for my clients to lead the way. I am all for blending evidence-based knowledge, intuition, technology, community/cultural wisdom, and intentional interventions - I believe each has a time and place to be thoughtfully relied upon, and I work with my clients to determine what their individual birth and postpartum values look like. There is a wide range of normal and no "right" way to have and raise a baby! My goal is to help parents experience their birth and postpartum journeys as aligned and empowering.
